Zn-Al Flake Coating

We work as Job Coater for Zn Al Flake coatings (Geomat and Dacro Type Coatings) , we have set up fully automatic line having a capacity of 700 Tons/ month . This is state art of art fully automatic coating line which enhances the quality of coating. We are using Chemicals and application technology of Rembrandtin of Austria, Premium Product Inc of USA, Zincotec Co of S Korea and Atotech Germany. Coating provided on fasteners/ Sheet Metal Parts give a life from 500- 1500 hrs SST.

Zinc Aluminium Flake Coatings are non-electrolytically applied coatings, which provide good protection against corrosion. These coatings consist of a mixture of Zinc and Aluminium flakes, which are bonded together by an inorganic matrix in a water-based solvent. It is applied using a so-called dip-spinning process. Zn-Al flake coating offers high performance corrosion protection for all types of fasteners and sheet metal components. The coating could be an alternative to Zinc and other electroplating in terms of properties and pollution related aspects. Generally, for the Zinc flake coatings, the coating thickness ranges from 5-15 microns. The corrosion resistance can be achieved in the range of 500-1500 hours by ASTM B117 in Salt Spray test. The results of corrosion depend up on the shape and geometry of the parts.
